WELCOME TO SANDCASTLES BY THE SEA
Blue Mountain Beach, Florida
Our condo is located right off Scenic Hwy. C 30-A, which runs along the
Gulf of Mexico next to the beautiful Beaches of South Walton.  We are
located between Sandestin and Seaside Beach Resort.  This area features:
An uncrowded residential area which is perfect for a getaway with your
dog children.  We are close to restaurants, shopping, sports
activities, amusement parks, major resorts, golf, entertainment and
night life.

Our condo has a gulf view and is located  across a residential street
from the beach.  The beach access is a short 1/4 block walk.  The condo
is three stories  with covered parking and storage on the first level;
living, dining, kitchen, 1/2 bath and washer/dryer on the second level;
and (2) bedrooms and full bath on the third.  There are decks off each
bedroom and  the main deck which  has table, chairs and a chaise
lounge. The size is approximately 1100 square feet

The following are some of the particulars:

We can sleep 8 - master bedroom and the second bedroom have  queen size
beds, the sofa in the living room folds out to a queen size bed, and
there are two cots and mattresses.  We furnish all bed linens, pillows
and blankets.
Washer and dryer - there should be plenty of laundry detergent
Kitchen is fully equipped

- microwave, handmixer, blender, toaster oven, electric knife, popcorn
popper, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and silverware
- dog food and water bowls
We have 1 1/2 baths - there is plenty of Kleenex, toilet paper, soap
and shampoo.  All bath linens are provided.
Central air conditioning and heating as well as ceiling fans in each
room.
TV in living room and master bedroom, each have basic cable and DVD
players.
Portable radio with cassette and CD player, alarm clock and iron.
Garbage pick up is provided on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Key hanging on key rack in kitchen opens storeroom - feel free to use
charcoal bar-b-que grill, beach chairs and rafts
Pool on grounds
Plenty of beach towels, blankets for beach, cuzzies and small playmate
icechest

Unfortunately there has been an ordinance passed restricting dogs on
the beach in South Walton County.  The rules are as follows:
dogs are permitted on the beach before 8am and then after 6pm
    (when not on daylight saving time the hours are before 9am and
after 3pm)
dogs should be on a leash
clean up after your dog on the beach ($50 fine)
property owners must register their dogs with Walton County and dogs
must wear tags on beach
To be in compliance with this ordinance I have my 2 dogs registered and
I keep the tags at the condo.  You are welcome to put the tags on your
dog's collar when you go to the beach.  Please remember to take the
tags off and leave them at the condo for others as well as myself.  In
a kitchen drawer are bags which can be used to clean up after your dog
and there are county provided garbage bags along the beach.
