Mike IX Williams of eyehategod and Arson Anthem read poetic excerpts from his book "Cancer as a Social Activity" released earlier this year. Video footage of the reading can be viewed below. Ryan McKern, noise master in his band with Mike IX called The Guilt Of..., provided background musical noise on some pieces. The reading took place at Euclid Records in New Orleans, LA, just before Mike performed with eyehategod for their Halloween show at Siberia on October 28th.

I've been having issues with the server, I haven't been able to upload articles correctly. But things seem to be working much more smoothly. So while I catch up on the many concert dates, enjoy the up to date interviews, including Seth Putnam's last live interview. RIP. I'll be trying to do some more band pages too. To make this whole operation look more legit, I want to poat banners of local businesses. Free for 2009 and probably pretty cheap starting 2010. Any bands that want to advertise a show or album are more than welcome to put up a banner also.
